What is Kinesiology?
If you want to experience a natural therapy that will blow your mind away, this is it! Kinesiology is an amazing system and therapy that talks to your body finding out what it wants and needs to heal.
Its is well known that stress is the root cause of many ailments such as stiff neck, sore shoulders, tiredness, fatigue, lower back pain etc. Kinesiology corrects and balances the body and releases and stress and emotions held.
Kinesiology is quite different to a massage – you remain fully clothed but also leave feeling relaxed, balanced and energised. If you have never experienced kinesiology before it is somewhat like a physiotherapy, osteotherapy and life/performance coaching all in one.
From aches and pains to allergies and ailments that either won’t go away or keep coming back, Kinesiology can help and you are in safe hands with master Kinesiologist Peter O’Neill who has over 15 years experience, developed 6 systems of kinesiology and taught workshops all around the world.

Kinesiology for Physical Health
The easiest way to describe Kinesiology is with an example of how chiropractors use it to diagnose and direct them to the bones that are out of alignment.
Chiropractors touch a spinal process (back bones) with one hand and then push another indicator muscle to see if it holds strong or shows weakness. If it tests strong, they will continue to move down to another spinal process and keep checking the indicator muscle to find which processes tests weak and needs adjustment.
Muscle Testing – How it works
The spindle cells of a muscle vibrate when they are under stress, affecting the muscle’s ability to be able to ‘lock on’ or hold strong.
If you smell something like a flower, a kinesiology muscle test will be strong but if you smell a poisonous substance then your spindle cells will vibrate with stress and therefore give a weak response. This is why kinesiology is also used in allergy and supplement testing as it identifies whether a body has stress associated with certain foods and substances.
Kinesiology & Emotional Healing
The above are very basic examples of how kinesiology is used by physical health therapists but kinesiology is also used as a tool in emotional health and healing.
If you think of a situation where there is an absence of stress, like waking up happy and full of energy, you will get a strong response to a muscle test but if you think of a situation where you are experiencing conflict you will return a weak response.
You can say an emotion and if you get a strong response then it means that you are ‘okay’ with that emotion. Stating other emotions may invoke a weak response which is where your mind-body and intuition is directing you and indicating some form of stressful situation that needs attention.
In relationship counselling and performance coaching, there are often negative perceptions and patterns of behaviour that people get ‘stuck’ in or need to breakthrough to achieve success, so Peter O’Neill’s Kinesiology system is used to pin point the specific areas that need to be focused on and addressed. This system takes a lot of the guess work out of the situation and ‘hits the nail on the head’ very quickly!
Kinesiology – Body, Mind, Energy & Emotion
Peter O’Neill’s Kinesiology system taps into and talks to your body to find out what it wants and needs for healing to occur. The system is centred on the relationship between Body, Mind, Energy and Emotion so it is an amazingly powerful and effective healing tool that identifies the core of physical or emotional issues rather than just treating the symptoms.
Kinesiology is a wonderful diagnostic tool that can be used like a road map leading you to awareness of what needs to be addressed in your life to bring health, healing or peaceful resolution and contentment.
A lot of clients have visited Peter’s clinic when other therapies have failed to deliver sustainable results and I would love a dollar for every time someone has said they have tried everything and nothing seemed to work, then experienced a session with Peter and said “wow, I’ve never seen that before!”
Kinesiology and intuition
‘All the answers are within’ and kinesiology can be used to bring them to the surface!
We all know that we have intuition but where does it come from and what is its purpose? Our intuition is there to guide our unconscious or semi-conscious everyday-self toward being more consciously aware, and to guide us toward growth, healing and self realisation.
We all hear that inner voice from time to time but we often fail to act upon it because of fears and self doubt. Often in hindsight we wish we would have taken more action upon it.
Imagine if we could have a tool to tap in and talk to this inner profound wisdom and get information and even answers to questions we have!
Imagine also that our higher self/intuition wanted to tell us something! Things like our life’s lessons, or the direction we need to take, especially in relationships, at any given moment and other amazing insights that will lead to peace, resolution and our happiness.
A session with Peter O’Neill and his kinesiology system will do just that!
